MDK Rawal Rides
Complete ERP Proposal
Executive Summary
MDK Rawal Rides is digitizing its end‑to‑end operations: importing vehicles from Japan, investor participation, customs & logistics, showroom sales, workshop servicing, HR & payroll, and management reporting. This proposal lays out the workflows, modules, deliverables, timelines, and estimates to implement a modern, mobile‑first ERP.
Goals
- A single source of truth for vehicles, investors, customers, and finances.
- Real‑time visibility from Japan purchase → BL issuance → customs → showroom/workshop → sale.
- Transparent investor experience (bidding, payments tracking, daily ROI view) within the Investor Portal.
- Fast operations with automated WhatsApp/SMS and email notifications; no payment gateways included.
- A modular roadmap enabling future expansion (multi‑branch, legal docs, advanced analytics).
Success Metrics
- Reduce manual data entry & status calls by ≥60% (shipping, customs, showroom readiness).
- 100% traceability of each car's cost, clearing, and sale with final P&L per car.
- Investors can self‑serve: bids, payments logged, allocations, and daily ROI views.
Business Workflows
2.1 Car Lifecycle Workflow
The system will manage the entire lifecycle of a car from initial bidding to final sale, with clear statuses for each stage.
2.2 Investor Interaction Workflow
The investor's journey is streamlined to provide transparency and control over their investments.
Key Operational Details Covered
- Capture bid price, cost & freight to KHI, and ETD/ETA after BL.
- Consignee allocation by agent per policy; attached to vehicle record.
- Customs clearing workflow with PSID(s), duty payment timeline, release to carrier, and freight to showroom.
- Workshop branch (if damaged): job card, parts, labor, and reintegration to showroom.
